Chanticleer Garden

I designed this map for the endpapers of the book The Art of Gardening published by Timber Press. To begin, I heavily modified a rough vector illustration of the grounds provided to me, re-creating elements and placing text based on sketches from the authors, notes from the editors, and Google Earth imagery. The textures and purple highlights reflect the lushness of the book's cover and interior design.
